On August 13th, Austin Monthly Magazine hosted a charity date auction called Singles in the City at Fair Market. It featured food, music, a live date auction, and great networking opportunities for young professionals from the Austin area and, as with any fashionable event, Modish was involved!
Tru-Skin Dermatology, one of our amazing clients, was the title sponsor for this event and we had the pleasure of creating their one-of-a-kind VIP lounge. We love working with them and we were thrilled to represent them at Singles in the City! For this event, they asked us to create a lounge area that would draw potential clients over to their informational booths. As always, we strive to create a unique guest experience that will attract the right people over to their space. We did this by pairing sleek, modern furniture with the rustic aspect of our custom reclaimed wood wall. The juxtaposition looked great and the wall was a huge draw; there were guests taking pictures in front of it all night!
To add activation and social media opportunities, we brought in our friends at Kellie’s Baking Co. They make the cutest (and yummiest) cookies by printing Instagram and Twitter pictures (@KelliesBakingCo) right into the icing! We love their work and they’re always so much fun to collaborate with, so we were thrilled to have them on our team at Singles in the City.
This event went off without a hitch, even with a guest count of 500+. The teams at Fair Market and Austin Monthly Magazine were on point and we look forward to working with both of them again in the future. We had so much fun watching the singles strut the runway for charity and we loved getting to spread the word about Tru-Skin Dermatology and The Shade Project.
Until next time,
The Modish Team
